Cold-water seafood, chosen by hand
Sumit BISTA is a small Australian seafood business working from Wirrimah in New South Wales. We source frozen seafood in small batches, check every carton by hand, and pack orders so they arrive at your door still frozen and ready for the kitchen.
Our range is deliberately short. Instead of a wall of products, we keep the cuts we would cook at home: squid rings for the fryer, crab and crayfish for a long table, tuna steaks for the pan, and whole octopus for a slow braise.
How we work
- Chosen in small lots. We buy in limited quantities so nothing sits in storage longer than it should.
- Frozen at the source. Products are flash-frozen to hold texture and flavour, then kept at -18 degrees Celsius through storage and delivery.
- Packed with care. Orders travel in insulated packaging with gel packs, and we check the seal before every dispatch.
- Honest advice. If you are not sure which cut suits a recipe, ask us. We would rather help you choose than sell you the wrong box.
